At the Marini Farm Corn Maze we offer a great opportunity for scouts to visit and learn on an educational, fun farm.  This year you will learn about Important Moments in American History while walking the pathways in our Freedom of America Corn Maze.

Our Corn Maze has over 10 miles of pathways. There are over 18 stations strategically placed throughout the maze with the clues and answers to a game sheet.  The challenge is to find all of the stations within the maze and finish your game sheet in the least amount of time.  Groups are broken into small teams and must work together to try and navigate the maze and find all the answers.  We don't give clues; it is up to your scouts to work as teams to find all of the stations throughout the maze.  Completion of the entire Corn Maze takes approximately 2 hours. For a really fun experience, plan a nighttime adventure and bring your flashlights.  Arrive after 6 pm for a nighttime experience through the maze.  Then sit around the campfire toasting s'mores while you re-live the fun!

Your Scouts will learn how pumpkins and corn are grown; how we design, grow, and cut the Corn Maze; the history of Marini Farm; how corn is important to farmers, their livestock, and the environment; and how bees are important to farming and the environment.

We want your visit to be an enjoyable and happy experience. We've listed some tips to consider when planning your visit to the Marini Corn Maze and Farm Market.

Reservations

All Scout Groups must pre-book their visit with us by emailing Kathy at this address or calling 978 471-9203. You can also complete our Group Reservation Request. Kathy, our Maze Manager, will contact you regarding available time slots.  The maze is open for all groups weekdays in September and October (except holidays when we are open to the general public). A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of confirmation.  A final headcount is due 3 days before arrive via email.  Bring along a check or cash to pay for the entire group when you arrive.  We do not collect money individually from each person in your group.

What Else Do You Need To Know?

No alcohol allowed anywhere on the farm

No running allowed in the Maze

No smoking allowed in or around the Maze

Group Hayrides are available upon request (a fee may apply)

Before You Arrive

You should separate your group into teams of 4-6 people.  Count the number of adults and youth that will be participating.  All youth must be accompanied by an adult.  We require an adult to youth ratio of 1:6 maximum.

What To Bring

Bring water bottles, sun protection and insect repellent (if we're having a rainy season) for your trip through the maze.  Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes since the maze is a working corn field.  You may bring your own food to eat on the farm under our tend or in our Party Room, if available (fee may apply). You can plan a Campfire to sit around and re-live your experience.

Other Activities

Enjoy the Jumping Pillow*, the all new Spider Web (youth only), the Wooden Tractor or take shots at the Apple Cannon* for a chance to win a free pumpkin of your choice.  Take a walk through our Pumpkin Patch for the best Halloween Pumpkin in town!
